Mr. Bolen’s teaching focus is in biblical studies and archaeology, and he has worked in excavations in Jerusalem, Masada, Bet Guvrin, Beth Shean, and Khirbet el-Maqatir. In addition to teaching, Mr. Bolen coordinates student life and campus activities at IBEX, enjoying especially the opportunity to lead students on hikes and camping trips. His love for teaching and photography have resulted in the publication of the Pictorial Library of Bible Lands, a unique ten-volume set of CDs with high-resolution images of the Middle East for use in teaching the Bible (see http://www.bibleplaces.com/).
