"Today" is the sixteenth single by 1960s British girl singer Sandie Shaw. Written by Chris Andrews, Shaw's first single of 1968 was the first occasion on which she did her own backing vocals. It reached Number 27 on the UK singles chart, making it her twelfth Top 30 hit to date.
