T. Caldecott merits an article on wiki!? Although admittedly a good herbalist, he's just that, a good practitioner amongst thousands. If we were to follow this rule we'd have to write the biographies of countless of good MDs, GPs, nurses, and alternative practitioners!

Number one: what is of note is his published work, not his practice per se, which cannot be objectively verified. Numer Two: this article has nothing to do with India per se, and i have removed the reference to it.Wikiherbal 04:32, 3 January 2007 (UTC)wikiherbal

[edit] Clean-up & advert tags

I note that the wikify tag has been removed without comment. I have added the clean-up tag, which is, perhaps, more accurate, as the entry doesn't follow Manual of Style guidelines for biographical entries. I have also added an advert tag as over half of this biographical entry is devoted to an uncritical, detailed description of Caldecott's book (which, beginning in the opening sentence, is given a place of prominance). I have cleaned up and added to the text, from published materials Wikiherbal 00:28, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
