Tobias Stephan (born January 21, 1984 in Zurich) is a Swiss professional ice hockey goaltender who currently plays for the Iowa Stars in the American Hockey League (AHL). He was drafted 34th overall in the 2nd round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Dallas Stars and is the highest Swiss draft ever. Before he played in the professional Swiss Hockey League first for the EHC Chur and then for the Kloten Flyers. Stephan is after Pauli Jaks, David Aebischer and Martin Gerber the 4th Swiss goalie who has been drafted by an NHL Team.
