Toadblatt's School of Sorcery / Educating Grim / It's Hokey Mon! is the 14th episode of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. It first aired June 13, 2003 on Cartoon Network.

Grim saves Billy and Mandy from a summer of torture by sending them to Toadblatt's School of Sorcery. Once there, Billy and Mandy are sorted into a house Toadblatt hates, Weaselthorpe, while Grim becomes a teacher from the more respectable Gunderstank. Billy and Mandy team up with Nigel Planter to sabotage Gunderstank. In the end, Mandy causes Nigel to be beaten seemingly to death by a Giant One Eyed Dwarf.

This episode is also a parody of the comedy Animal House, Dean Toadblatt is a parody of Dean Wormer and is also played by the original actor John Vernon

Billy and Mandy drag Grim to school with them. On his first day, Grim is taken advantage of by Mindy, Mandy's arch rival who wants to see Mandy without a friend. Grim is torn away from Mandy, and she wants him back. Meanwhile, Billy and Irwin decide they don't need Grim, so they get Abraham Lincoln to be their best friend. In, Mindy pushes Grim aside and steals away Abraham Lincoln.

Billy and Irwin become obsessed with a trading card game called Hokey Monsters. Grim brings one to life to make them more interesting. Billy and Irwin ask for their whole decks brought to life which prompts other kids to want their cards brought to life as well. Soon, Hokey Monsters are destroying Endsville! In the end, Mandy creates her own Hokeymon, which kills all the others.

  • First appearance of Nigel Planter. Nigel Planter, and the whole episode Toadblatt's School of Sorcery, is a parody of Harry Potter.
  • Hokey Monsters are parody of Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh!. Some more obvious parodies resemble Charmander and Charizard.
  • The arena where Nigel Planter got beaten in the end of Toadblatt's School of Sorcery resembles the "Coliseum of Chaos" arena in The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy video game.

  • In Educating Grim, Grim is shown trading in his scythe for a pair of roller-blades, and is not shown getting it back.

  • First appearance of Mindy. (Educating Grim)
  • First appearance of Abraham Lincoln(Educating Grim). In the show's universe, Abraham Lincoln is a president of United States, and apparently Billy's friend. Billy called him to be a replacement for Grim after he joined Mindy.
  • Billy Breakes The Fourth Wall Saying "This Episode,You Do!"
