To Know Him Is To Love Him is a song by Phil Spector, recorded by his first band, the Teddy Bears. It went to the Hot 100 number-one hits of 1958 (USA). The title was altered to "To Know Her Is To Love Her" (The Beatles) and returned as "To Know You Is to Love You" (Peter and Gordon)

In 1987, Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt covered the song, taking their version to the top of the U.S. country singles charts. In 2007 Amy Winehouse recorded the song acoustic for a B-side of You Know I'm No Good for Napster
