[edit] Synopsis
Joey organizes a student rally in support of Principal Green after he expels a student, Matt Caufield, for defacing her mural. At a heated PTA meeting, parents and students disagree on the fate of Principal Green. Caufield’s father tells the school superintendent that Green’s methods would be better served in an urban environment, insinuating that because Green is African-American he is not in touch with the Capeside community that is mostly White. The school superintendent asks Green to reduce the punishment or tender his resignation.
Gail decides to produce and submit her own news story to the local TV station after her run-in with a reporter (a former intern that Gail hired at the station) who is producing a slanted story about the crisis.
Meanwhile, Pacey confides in Jen about his new found love for Joey. To make up for her defaced mural, Pacey rents a wall so that Joey can paint a new mural.
