'To Be An Angel Blind, The Crippled Soul Divide' is the 3rd album by The Tear Garden, released 4 years after their second - The Last Man To Fly.
This is the first Tear Garden album not to feature Dwayne Goettel in any form, with his death (and the end of Skinny Puppy) happening a year previous. With that said, the album tends to carry a less electronic and more somber tone to it overall as cEvin and others changed instrumental priorities with the loss (and their respective moods reflecting that loss).
Joining The Tear Garden this album is another member of The Legendary Pink Dots, Niels Van Hoornblower.
