TO&E

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A TO&E, or "Table of Organization and Equipment," is a table, usually in document form, of the United States military that prescribes the organizational chart, number of assigned personnel, and the type and number of weapons and equipment authorized for a military unit. In the U.S. Army and Marine Corps TO&E's are prescribed for units from division level down to Company level, or to platoon level in certain specialized organizations. In the U.S. Air Force TO&E's are prescribed at the squadron level, but during World War II the US Army Air Forces used TO&E's for group level organizations also.
