My name is T. Scott Brandon, and I am a member of the Society for American Baseball Research. When it comes to baseball history, my passion is early 20th Century (mostly mostly the period just post-deadball era) Major League research. My favorite player from that time is Walter "Peck" Lerian, whose biography I am in the (long and painstaking) process of writing. One of my side projects of late has been to create a Major League career summary for players with one- and two-game careers. I use these sketches as end notes to theme teams that fellow SABR member D. Bruce Brown produces. In addition I have run a daily baseball trivia listserv with Bruce that has been running since the start of the 1997 season.
