TNA Turning Point

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Turning Point is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view event held by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in the month of December. It originated in 2004 as TNA's second ever monthly pay-per-view event, after TNA Victory Road.

Over the first two years, Turning Point has earned a reputation for having at least one outstanding match on the show that will be in contention for "match of the year" honors. The America's Most Wanted vs. Triple X steel cage match from 2004 and the Sabu vs. Abyss barbed wire match from 2005 both earned "TNA Match of the Year" honors as voted by the fans, while the Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle match for 2006 placed high in several MOTY awards rankings, including PWTorch and Pro Wrestling Illustrated.
