TNA Destination X

Destination X is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view event held by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in the month of March. Despite what the name and promotional posters seem to imply, the show is in no way focused around the X Division any more so than around any other wrestling division, although the 2005 and 2006 events had an Ultimate X match. and the 2007 event having an Elevation X (scaffold) match.

Destination X 2005 took place on March 13, 2005 from the iMPACT! Zone (Soundstage 21 at Universal Orlando Resort) in Orlando, Florida. The promotional poster featured Diamond Dallas Page while the DVD cover prominently featured Christopher Daniels.
- Pre-Show match: Chris Candido and Andy Douglas defeated Lex Lovett and Buck Quartermain (7:58)
- Candido pinned Quartermain after a Diving Headbutt.
- Pre-Show match: Kid Kash and Lance Hoyt defeated Cassidy Riley and Jerrelle Clark (8:45)
- Kash pinned Clark after a Money Maker.
- Team Canada (Petey Williams, Eric Young, Bobby Roode and A-1) (w/Coach D'Amore and Johnny Devine) defeated 3Live Kru (Konnan and B.G. James) and America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) (8:53)
- Roode pinned Konnan after a Northern Lariat.
- Devine was scheduled to wrestle but was replaced by A-1 after suffering a knee injury.
- Chris Sabin defeated Chase Stevens (w/Chris Candido and Andy Douglas) (6:18)
- Dustin Rhodes defeated Raven in a Bullrope match (6:10)
- Rhodes pinned Raven after a Bulldog.
- The Disciples of Destruction (Ron and Don Harris) (w/Traci) defeated Phi Delta Slam (Bruno Sassi and Big Tilly) (w/Trinity) (10:18)
- Don pinned Tilly after a Big Boot to win Traci the job of personal assistant to Director of Authority Dusty Rhodes.
- Monty Brown defeated Trytan (5:26)
- Brown pinned "Trytan" after a Pounce.
- The lights had turned off right before Brown hit the Pounce, and when they came back on a man in a mask (Dennis Knight) had appeared. Brown pinned him while Trytan went up the ramp.
- Jeff Hardy defeated Abyss in a Falls Count Anywhere match (15:48)
- Hardy pinned Abyss after a Twist of Fate on a ladder.
- The Outlaw defeated Kevin Nash in a First Blood match (11:20)
- The Outlaw won after Nash bled following a belt shot from Jeff Jarrett.
- The Outlaw actually bled first, but the referee was knocked out, so Mr. Daggett rushed in after Jarrett cracked Nash open and cleaned up The Outlaw's wound.
- Christopher Daniels defeated A.J. Styles (c), Ron Killings and Elix Skipper in an Ultimate X Challenge to win the TNA X Division Championship (25:19)
- Skipper and Styles defeated Daniels and Killings when Skipper pinned Killings after a Sudden Death (8:06)
- Daniels pinned Skipper with a Small Package (17:10)
- Daniels grabbed the belt after hitting the Angel's Wings (25:19)
- Jeff Jarrett defeated Diamond Dallas Page in a Ringside Revenge match to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Championship (21:40)
- Jarrett pinned Page after a Pounce from Monty Brown.
- The lumberjacks for the match were Monty Brown, Ron Killings, B.G. James, Larry Zbyszko, Konnan, Sean Waltman, Chris Candido, Chase Stevens, Andy Douglas and Mr. Daggett.

- Young pinned Smiley.
- Alex Shelley defeated Jay Lethal (10:08)
- Shelley pinned Lethal after a Sliced Bread #2.
- Lance Hoyt defeated Matt Bentley (with Traci) (7:59)
- Hoyt pinned Bentley after a Boot From Hell.
- Team Canada (Bobby Roode and Eric Young) (w/Coach D'Amore and A-1) defeated The Naturals (Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas) (12:24)

- Cage pinned Brown after an Unprettier.
- After the match, America's Most Wanted, Abyss, Alex Shelley, Team Canada, Jeff Jarrett, and Brown attacked Cage. Rhino came down to help Cage, and eventually Sting made his return and attacked Jarrett. Scott Steiner then made his debut in TNA, attacking Sting and placed him in the Steiner Recliner.
- David Eckstein and other players of the St. Louis Cardinals were at ringside for the event.

- The Latin American Exchange (Homicide and Hernandez) (w/Konnan) defeated Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) (w/Johnny Rodz) in a Ghetto Brawl (14:50)
- Homicide pinned Devon after Alex Shelley hit Devon with a camera and then a Frog Spash.
- James Storm and Jacqueline Moore defeated Petey Williams and Gail Kim in a Double Bullrope match (7:53)
- Storm pinned Williams after a superkick.
- Senshi defeated Austin Starr in a Crossface Chickenwing match (11:09)
- Senshi forced Starr to submit with the Crossface Chickenwing.
- After the match, Starr attacked Bob Backlund (who had come to ringside during the match) and put him in the Crossface Chickenwing.
- The Voodoo Kin Mafia (B.G. James and Kip James) defeated The Heartbreakers (Antonio Thomas and Romeo Roselli) (w/Christy Hemme) (9:03)
- B.G. pinned Antonio after a Pumphandle Slam.
- Chris Sabin defeated Jerry Lynn in a Two out of Three Falls match to retain the TNA X Division Championship (12:33)
- Lynn pinned Sabin after a Tornado DDT (5:50)
- Sabin pinned Lynn using the ropes for leverage (9:09)
- Sabin pinned Lynn with a roll-up after the distraction of a masked man (12:33)
- After the match, the masked man (Christopher Daniels) hit the Angel's Wings on Sabin and hit Lynn with the X Division Title belt.
- Rhino defeated A.J. Styles in a Elevation X match (12:32)
- Rhino knocked Styles off the structure to win.
- Kurt Angle defeated Scott Steiner (11:44)
- Angle pinned Steiner after a Sunset Flip off the top-rope.
- Sting defeated Abyss in a Last Rites match (9:37)
- Sting won the match after putting Abyss in the casket and shutting the lid.
- Christian Cage defeated Samoa Joe to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Championship (17:43)
- Cage pinned Joe after flipping over while in the Coquina Clutch and using the ropes for leverage.
