Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.
Wikipedians try to follow a strict policy of never biting new users. If you are unsure of how to do something, you are welcome to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator. One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD! --omtay38 02:57, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Help is here
Hello, you used the {{helpme}} tag. How may I help you? When you've asked your question, please put the tag back so we know to check back. Alternatively, you can join the Wikipedia Bootcamp IRC channel to get real-time help. (Use the web-based client to get instant access.) - Tangotango 06:17, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, that page couldn't be moved anyway as the destination page already existed. I've merged the two histories of the two pages, and the new page is available at Vector the Crocodile. Cheers, Tangotango 07:03, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Possible impersonation
Hi, TMNT Donatello. Someone with the IP 67.181.191.64 signed your username to Wikipedia:Requested moves. If this is an impersonator, I suggest asking him or her to stop. If he or she does not stop, let me or another administrator know. -- Kjkolb 07:14, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
- No trouble. :-) Kjkolb 07:00, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

- Where you are uploading you don't have an ID. Simply signup under this name and you will be fine. There is no glitch. —— Eagle (ask me for help) 20:58, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Question about splitting articles
Hi! Replacing a redirect with an article is fine - don't worry, you won't get warned or blocked for that :) However, do bear in mind the notability of the characters you are dealing with - if a redirect's history shows that it once used to be an article, that might mean someone considered the character not notable enough to have its own article. Cheers, Tangotango 16:07, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- Can you tell me which article you tried that on? If possible, please give me a diff so that I can figure out exactly what happened. Cheers, Tangotango 04:18, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
