Processor: Intel Pentium P4 / 2.4Ghz

Memory: 1GB PC2100/266 DRam

Graphics: Onboard (Using the Intel 845G/GL/GS Chipset (84501)

Sound: Onboard (SoundMax Digital Audio)

Webcam: Pixart - SPCA5XX

Internet Connection: 8MB Cable Broadband provided by Virgin Media

Connected via: Onboard Ethernet (Intel 82801 Chipset)

Internet Router: BT Voyager 205 / a.k.a Globespan Viking

CD & DVD Capability:

1 Internal CDRom Drive (Fitted by Dell)

1 Internal DVD-RW (Dual Layer) Drive - Made by LiteOn

Storage Capacity: 500GB (1/2 Tb) Made up as:

  • 250GB External Hard Drive (USB) made by SmartDisk
  • 150GB Internal Hard Drive (ATA) made by Maxtor
  • 100GB Internal Hard Drive (ATA) made by Maxtor

The system is Dual booted, with Linux (Mandriva 2006) on the 150GB Hard drive, spread out across 3 partitions, and Windows XP Professional installed on the 100GB Hard drive. Boot selection is made using LILO 22.6.1
