This template is part of a suite including several enhancements of Template:User, aka {{user}}. (The first of those enhancements are {{User1 plus}} and {{User2 plus}}.) The purpose of this template is as an enhancement of {{tl}}.

{{Tl}} is usable with any template. Template:Tl2-1 and the others of the Tlm-n series are limited as to the templates they can be applied to. Template:Tl2-1 is for those with

  • one space (after the colon) in their titles (the resulting two words being the reason for the 2 in its title), and
  • a single parameter (the reason for the 1 in the title).

The markup {{Tl21|User1|plus|Jerzy}} produces

User1 plus: (Tt | THx • TtHx | TE • TtE • Tt+)
{{User1 plus|Jerzy}} => Jerzy (talk • contribs | UHx • UtHx | UtE • Ut+)

including a demonstration of Template:user1 plus.
