He, Tkrajcar, I just saw the notes on your question regarding the Robert Tafts. I'm leaving a note here in case you don't catch the one on the William Howard Taft page. Robert Alphonso Taft I's son was just Robert Taft. He is generally referred to as "Robert Taft Jr." for the sake of convenience, but, really, he is not a "Jr.," because his name is not identical to his father's (he didn't have the middle name "Alphonso"). Robert Taft (Jr.)'s son is Robert Alphonso Taft II, not III, because he was named after his grandfather, not his father. In this case, II does not equal Jr. So I changed this back wherever I found it. Acsenray 15:18, 27 Jul 2004 (UTC)
