[edit] Kaukauna, Wisconsin

I returned the section on transportation. I did feel like it was out of place, for it had a far wider scope than just Kaukauna. I suggest creating a transportation section to the Wisconsin article, and adding it to the section. I'm curious to see how other editors feel about the notability of this edit. Cheers! Hello, I don't really know how this all works, but someone has taken off your sign saying that it is not controversial. I can assure you that it is. This is just a bunch of irresponsible nonsense attacking my team and my people. Thank you. Yours fathfully, Renée, London

[edit] Wisconsin Highway images

Please note the I usually sort the images that I upload to Wisconsin highways articles by location like I did for Wisconsin Highway 441. Please place them in their proper order next time! Thanks! Royalbroil T : C 14:44, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hearthstone

I started an article on the Hearthstone Historic House Museum. I plan on having the article featured on the Did You Know section on the homepage. Feel free to enhance the article, but make sure that any contributions are well sourced (as required by the DYK standard). Royalbroil T : C 15:38, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Gay icon

I just read your comments on the talkpage and am a bit confused. Could you clarify them for me? In the first place, the fact that the names are referenced meets WP:V, so I am confident as to the contents. Secondly, I didn't understand a bit of what you meant about future editors. It could be just me--I have an awful cold, and have been editing that damn article for the betetr part of 7 hours today to keep it from deletion. But clarification would be appreciated. • I do understand what you mean about the names not looking so pretty, but if memory serves me, this was already deleted as a category once, so I wonder if a list would be any better. If you want to delete some of the entertainment ones, I have no objection, though I do think they all qualify. If you do delete, though, may I ask that you delete Americans and not other natioinalities? I had a {{world)) tag on it earlier, since it was so weighted down with American examples. Also, when you delete, please check to see if you are deleting a ref that is used in more than one area, so that the refs still work. Thanks for your feedback on this. I saw this on the LGBT list as a "targeted article", and spent the better part of the day ensuring it was not deleted. Jeffpw 17:40, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] re: Fox Cities

Regarding your comments on Template talk:Appleton, Wisconsin, I've responded here. BTW, regarding your comments on your userpage, be of good courage, it's not unusual for Wisconites to be confused for Canadians bcz of ignorance about the fact that what people regard as "Canadian English" is actually just the fact that the majority of Canadian English speakers are linguistic clones of upper-Midwestern American English speakers.  :-) Cheers, Tomertalk 09:07, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Grignon home

I notice that you took a picture of the Grignon home. I have an article about the home from this past weekend's Post Crescent. I am looking to write an article on the home soon, and possibly do it as a DYK article. Is it possible to get closer picture, or are there obstacles? I would consider taking a picture myself. Otherwise I might crop down the picture that you took. Please respond here on your talk page. Royalbroil T : C 02:36, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

I took the picture as I did merely to include the little arched gate at the front. I borrowed somebody's camera to take all of those pictures, so getting a new picture might be hard. You could use the picture as is, or take a new one, but cropping it for a new article might be redundant on the Wikimedia server. Whatever you think is best. Thor Rudebeck 15:02, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
