The School of Communication (originally the School of Oratory, from 1921 to 2003 the School of Speech) at Northwestern University is an undergraduate and graduate institution devoted to the study and application of performance and communication, located on Northwestern University's campus in Evanston, Illinois, about 12 miles north of downtown Chicago.
