[edit] Hello
Well those that know me know I edit constantly and I have a deep and abiding love for military history. Feel free to discuss anything that concerns you but there is one reservation. Having run across several varieties of wiki trolls a few rules:
- No trolling
- I don't feed trolls
- If you want an argument join a debating club
- I support any change so long as you have the reputable sources (multiple) to back it up.
- Park the urban legend version of history outside, I want the truth or as close to it as we can get.
- Don't make additions without sourcing and footnoting the addition.
- If you are one of those that can cut and paste a 50 [citation needed]s into an article but can not be bothered to add real work like actually contributing to the sources and footnotes expect a revision within 48 hours, and a replacement per section with (verify) no I won't be "discussing" it either. Its just another form of trolling, abusive behavior, and self aggrandizement, at the communities expense. Oh and I am not interested in self serving, self righteous, defense of the right to mangle articles with 60 plus [citation needed]s either.

[edit] In Hell Before Night
This arrived on my doorstep today so I will be adding this to the sources and citing as soon as I have finished it. Tirronan 19:17, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- Let me know how you like it. It is one I do not have in my library. Coincidently, a new book is being published about the battle, although it is based on a dissertation published in 1966: http://www.amazon.com/SHILOH-WESTERN-CAMPAIGN-Edward-Cunningham/dp/1932714278/ref=sr_1_1/002-0330857-0022463?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1175299180&sr=1-1 Hal Jespersen 00:00, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] talk pages
IMHO best not to alter/refactor other editors notes on a talk page, unless there is a very good reason to do so like Removing personal attacks and incivility --Philip Baird Shearer 21:36, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
