Tipperary North is a constituency represented in Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish parliament or Oireachtas. It was created for the 1948 general election when the old Tipperary constituency divided into north and south.

The Tipperary North constituency has an electorate of 59,427 and at present is served by 3 Teachtaí Dála (TDs). The method of election is the Single Transferable Vote.

The constituency encompasses the whole area of Tipperary North County Council, taking in Thurles, Templemore, Nenagh and Roscrea. One of the most high profile TDs in the constituency is Michael Lowry, a former Fine Gael TD who was expelled from the Party. Another high profile TD is the former Minister for Defence, Michael Smith.
