"Tip Drill" is the name of a 2003 Nelly song, the video of which became controversial among students at Historically Black colleges and universities (HBCU), most notably Spelman College, black political and popular cultural commentators, women’s groups, and other activist for its overt depiction of women as sexual objects and engaging in lesbian activities.[1][2][3][4][5]

Though some may interpret the phrase "tip drill" to mean "a woman with a 'nice' body but an 'ugly' face" or "a man with an 'ugly' face who has a lot of money," due to the lyrics "it must be your ass 'cause it ain't your face" and "it must be your money 'cause it ain't your face." Another possible meaning of "tip drill" is a gang-bang, or orgy, where men line up to "go at" a woman.[citation needed]

The video was first seen during BET: Uncut, a program that plays music videos with uncut scenes and sex materials, such as "booty shaking" or yet, "tip drill."
