The Tiny Masters of Today are an American indie punk rock band, consisting of pre-teen sibling duo Ivan, born February 21, 1994 (age 13) and Ada, born March 4, 1996 (age 11) both from Brooklyn, New York. In the band, both members play guitar (However, Ivan also plays Bass and drums. Ada plays keyboards and drums). The band first began playing music in 2005.

The band were signed to Tigertrap Records, an independent record label in Great Britain. Through the label, the band first released the vinyl single “Big Noise” in July of 2006. The single consisted of three songs, all recorded from the basement of their home. "Stickin’ It To The Man", "Tooty Frooty" and "Bushy", a rant on President Bush[1].

In December of 2006, the band later released another vinyl single titled "K.I.D.S." This single produced three songs titled "K.I.D.S.", "Pictures" and "Cellphone", which is a guitar solo set to sound like a ringtone.[2]

In a video interview by Vidocity, Ivan mentioned that Jon Spencer Blues Explosion Drummer Russell Simins is interested in working with the band on their debut album. In a mix-up, Def Jam pioneer Russell Simmons photo splashed onto the screen instead. [3] The band appeared with Simins on the Public Radio International program, Fair Game in December of 2006, performing the songs "Stickin It To The Man" and "Tooty Frooty". [4] They also mention that the White Stripes are one of their influences.
