TinyKRNL is an open source kernel based on Windows's NT design. TinyKRNL aims to be compatible with Windows Server 2003 SP1. It was started in 2006 by Alex Ionescu as a spin-off of the ReactOS project, but it shares no code with ReactOS.

Some parts are licensed under LGPL and others under BSD.1
