Tintinhull, New South Wales

Tintinhull is a tiny hamlet just outside of Tamworth in New South Wales, Australia. It lies between Nemingha and Kootingal, and lies on the New England Highway.
Tintinhull has no shop or petrol station, but it does have a primary school with about 50 students, a pottery, and a pyramid shaped observatory. The main rise is called Goat Hill. Philip Quast is the hamlet's most well-known native.
Tintinhull is also a village near Yeovil, in Somerset, England. With a school of 91 pupils. Tintinhull also has a church, park, swimming pool and other amenities. It is close to the A303 near Yeovil. Mentioned in the Domesday Book (1086) it is an ancient village surrounded by an ancient landscape that still shows much evidence of 2000 years of farming. This pretty village fashioned mostly of honey coloured Ham stone has many fine 16C - 18C buildings including Tintinhull House which is now National Trust property.
