Tinker Bell (film)

Tinker Bell is a direct-to-video Disney animated film based on the Disney Fairies franchise, scheduled for release around August 21, 2007. The film revolves around the titular character Tinker Bell, a fairy character originated from the 1953 Disney animated film, Peter Pan. Although the character has never spoken anything before (save for an audio tour of Disneyland created around the time the park was opened), actress/singer Brittany Murphy will be providing the voice for the fairy in this film.

- This is loosely based upon the Disney Fairies series. It is mainly based on Tinker Bell's adventures when not around with the legendary Peter Pan and the Darling kids: Wendy and her two younger brothers John and Michael.
- This film may be released in United Kingdom on July 3, 2007, and in the rest of the British Isles on 17 July 2007, and 31 July 2007.
- This film was originally titled The Tinker Bell Movie and then Tinker Bell and the Ring of Belief before finally deciding on Tinker Bell.
- In addition to serving on the film's "story trust," Frank Nissen is also directing a series of webisodes for Tinker Bell.[1]
