TinkerTool is a utility for editing the hidden preferences of Mac OS X by Marcel Bresink. It allows one to edit features and functions hidden by Apple computer for various reasons. All of the changes made by TinkerTool are nondestructive and relatively harmless. Any "dangerous" changes were put into TinkerTool System. It was made into shareware to discourage casual editing of sensitive system settings.
