Tingewick

Tingewick is a village in Buckinghamshire, England. It is located in the Aylesbury Vale, about two and a half miles west of Buckingham. It was originally on the A421 but is now bypassed by a dual carriageway around the village.

The village name is an Old English language word, and means 'Teoda's dwelling'. In the Domesday Book of 1086 the village was recorded as Tedinwiche.
