Tina Russell (Linda Marie Mintzer September 23, 1948 - May 18, 1981) was an adult film actress active during the late 1960s through the early 1980s.
She also performed in live shows in Times Square New York during the 1970s. Some of her friends included Marc Stevens, Harry Reems and Jamie Gillis.
According to her autobiography she started appearing in adult movie loops to help generate bail money for a friend who had been caught with some marijuana. Her out of print autobiography published in 1973 is entitled Porno Star (Lancer # 71356-150).
Linda was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania and married Jason Russell (John Sanderson). Jason and Linda's marriage took a turn for the worse while they were living in New York. It has been rumored this was caused by Jason having an affair with adult actress Jean Jennings. Linda became depressed and alcoholic. She eventually moved to California to live with her brother where she died due to cancer at the age of 32.
Tina Russell is buried in Resurrection Cemetery, Montoursville, Pennsylvania, under her real name.
