Tina May

Tina May (b. 1961) is an English singer.

May was born on 30 March 1961 in Gloucester, U.K.. She started her career as a trained actress, and a founder member of the Back Door Theatre Company. She later turned to a singing career, performing in a number of musical styles, from baroque to jazz, the latter being her main style. She has performed and recorded with Thad Kelly (bass), Dylan Fowler (guitar), Clark Tracey (drums, and also her husband), Tony Coe (saxophones and clarinet), and Brian Dee and Nikki Iles (piano).
