Tina Barrett

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tina Ann Barrett (born 16 September 1976 in London, England) was a member of the pop band S Club 7 (1998-2003). The band broke up in May 2003 due to undisclosed reasons.

In 2003, Barrett landed a $400,000 (around £250,000) worldwide advertising contract with Wrigley's chewing gum.

In 2004, she was rumoured internationally to be romantically linked to David Schwimmer for a few months following media reports of her visiting him at his Spanish villa.

Notably, on the S Club 7 Album Sunshine, Tina had led the uptempo club track, "Stronger" which was due to be released as the band's 10th single. However, due to the departure of band member Paul Cattermole, the single was pulled. If the plans for Stronger had gone ahead, it would have marked the first time Jo O'Meara or Rachel Stevens had not taken the position of lead vocalist.
