[edit] Biggest cairn?
I've been up Tinto 4 times with my buddy who lives near the foot of the hill, and he insists the cairn at the top is the biggest in Scotland. Anybody know if this is true, and if so, does it deserve a mention? Camillus (talk) 23:36, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Not without a citation. I would suggest that there are possible competitors on the summit of Mam Sodhail (remains of a surveyor's shelter) and near the summit of Creag Meagaidh ('Mad Meg's Cairn'). Why not write a letter to 'The Angry Corrie'. They love that sort of listmaking stuff and their readership, taken together, add up to an awful lot of knowledge of the Scottih hills. You would probably get 1. An answer and 2. A citation to use.
