- It produces over 100,000 hits on google, so yes there is verification. Just because something is unknown in America doesn't make it non notable. Damburger 21:02, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
- Not actually done any specific research myself, but as a resident of the North of England I feel I am more than qualified to give a resounding YES to this question. It has certainly caught on outside of Kay's humour. Even in the Midlands and South of England, where I used to live. Paulfp 14:49, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- The original question is a good example of the Wikipedia policy of verification over truth tripping up over it's own shoelaces.
