[edit] Please do not blank out AfD votes

Concerning the AfD for Tim The Terrible: Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. —ERcheck @ 00:01, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Please don't blank out comments you disagree with. It is considered vandalism. IrishGuy 07:21, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
If you understand, you should realize that you are not allowed to remove these messages. If you look at the "talk page vandalism" section of Wikipedia:Vandalism, you'll see that "users generally are permitted to remove and archive comments at their discretion, except in cases of warnings". Please leave this discussion intact so we don't have to get administrators involved. Thanks. f(x)=ax2+bx+c 07:03, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:My Network TV Logo.jpg

You say this came from a press release, care to provide it? Because we've been working with a slightly less 3D version and the image comes with a "metadata" section indicating it's been Photoshopped. Please read WP:LOGO. Morgan Wick 23:59, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Made a Mistake on the My Network TV Source

Putting on the Source I made a mistake by putting the original Source of the original picture on it. The picture was found on a website I help with http://www.wtta38.com/tampa_fl/images/My%20Network%20TV%20Logo.jpg Hope you don't delete the 3D version. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Timothy Chavis (talkcontribs) 16:16, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Barney & Friends

Good work with finally getting a decent picture on the article. However, please don't put protected tags on when the article is not protected. THanks. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 05:25, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Narnia Actors Pics

You added some excellent pics to William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes , and Georgie Henley but you don't say where they are from. Unless you took them yourself the GFDL license is probably not the correct tag. Thanks for contributing to wikipedia. Eluchil404 03:55, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Valleyfair.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Valleyfair.gif. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}. If you have not already done so, please also include the source of the image. In many cases this will be the website where you found it.

Please specify the copyright information and source on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey 09:39, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:P7260041.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:P7260041.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
