Time in Thailand

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thailand uses the UTC+7 time zone, with no observation of daylight saving time.

In 2001,[1] then-Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra announced intentions to change the country's time zone to UTC+8 to be in line with Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong. This was met with much criticism and resistance, and the plan was withdrawn.
