[edit] Plot

H.G. Wells is about to bury a time capsule. Phil tells Lloyd and Barb about the time capsule, and they remembered when they found it in the future on their first date. Lloyd told Phil to put in a note telling him not to ever get a time machine, so they can go back to the future, but they wouldn't remember anything. Phil put the note into the time capsule, but Lloyd never read the note in the future.

[edit] Subplot

Pim and the Junior Science squad were raising money for a rat disease. Instead of her using the money for the charity, she was secretly keeping the money for herself. Everyone eventually found out, and they were very disappointed at her. At the end, Pim had to return all of the money left to the people who gave.

[edit] Trivia

  • When Keely says this, she does so in a sing-songy way, similar to the show's theme song/lyrics. However, she replaces "22nd Century Man" with "21st Century Phil."
  • Time Release Capsule is a play off of a medical term usually used for aspirin capsules.
  • Ben Savage makes an appearance in this episode.
  • The Song played at the end of the episode is "Any Given Day" by Tim Reid.

[edit] Goofs

When Lloyd tells Phil that he had seen the time capsule before he said that he found it ween he and Barbara just started dating. But later at the end of the episode Lloyd talked to Barbara about renting a time machine but as said before they just started dating so neither Phil nor Pim were born yet so they could not have taken there trip yet.
