Time Matters

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Time Matters is practice management software, as opposed to contact management software, such as Act! or GoldMine, developed independently but now owned by LexisNexis. Time Matters integrates with HotDocs, another independently-developed software product (for document automation) now also owned by LexisNexis. Time Matters is generally considered to be the market leader in its product category, frequently winning awards in legal technology competitions, but there are other well-known competitors, including Amicus, Tabs, etc. According to Bob Butler, former CEO of Time Matters (when it was an independent company), Time Matters was developed initially as a competitor to Lotus Organizer.

Time Matters is sold in two versions: professional and enterprise. There is a network of certified independent consultants ("CIC"s) nationally who support, train and customize this product for end users.
