[edit] Synopsis

[edit] Time Fugitives (Part 1)

Time Fugitives, Part 1 begins in New York City, in 3999 AD. Here Cable and the Clan Chosen are fighting Apocalypse's forces. Apocalypse orders his forces to exterminate the mutants. Suddenly a temporal storm comes and everyone starts to disappear. Cable asks his time-device what Apocalypse is doing. The device says that it's not Apocalypse, but the time is changing, and says that somehow the past has changed, so the time is realigning, and their present is altering itself in response to a new past. Cable asks what can I do, then the time-device shows Cable what was changed in the past......

In the past in 2055 AD, when Bishop had come back from the past after saving Senator Robert Kelly's life. Forge tells Bishop that nothing has changed, the plague still occurred. Bishop says that there was no plague. Forge tells Bishop that after Senator Kelly survived the assassination attempt he became president and dedicated his life to mutant rights. Bishop says, "that is what I went back for." Forge says that if this is true then their time had changed and no one remembered the other time, except Bishop who was outside of the time. Then Forge says that there was a genetically engineered virus, that made people sick for a while, and they blamed it on mutants. But when mutants got infected the virus combined with mutant DNA turned deadly and millions died. Bishop says that couldn't the X-Men stop then, but Forge says who are the X-men. It seems that the X-men died in the plague. Then Bishop tells Forge to send him back again. Forge sends Bishop back to the time at the beginning of the plague. So Bishop comes back in time to beginning of the plaque.

Storm and Jubilee go shopping at a mall. Jubilee had to get her CD player fixed, so she goes to an electronics store. When the clerk goes to the back room to check out if the CD player can be fixed, a man sprays a gas in the room. Then the clerk gets sick and the man that sprayed the virus, tells everyone that Jubilee's mutant, that's why the clerk got sick. When storm hears this she creates mist and flies off with Jubilee.

At the X-mansion Beast scans Jubilee and finds no sign of infection. Later Beast goes to the hospital where the clerk was taken and looks at his DNA. He finds a genetically engineered virus in the clerk. Back at the Mansion, the X-Men are watching the news about the government barackading mutants in their homes. The same man who was at the mall comes outside the mutants house again and creates panic, and a mob starts attacking mutants. So the X-Men go to help. There Bishop also comes and tries to stop the mob. One of the Friends of Humanity members start to shoot at Bishop, so he attacks back. Storm creates rain and disperses the mob. Then Cyclops asks Bishop why he's hear. Bishop tells the X-Men that in his future the X-Men never existed and they must have died in the plague. He says that someone created the virus in a laboratory, so they have to stop that person.

Later Beast is at a senate hearing to explain about the Virus. Graydon Creed says that if they infect Beast live on television, then more people will start hating mutants and responsible for the disease. So he goes to the hearing and tries to shoot Beast with a spray, but Bishop stops the Creed. Creed then infects himself with the virus and says that Bishop infected him because he is a mutant. The X-Men take Bishop to the X-Jet. At the X-Jet Bishop tells them that Creed had a device in his hand, so that's why he attacked him. When they look closely at the videotape they see Creed infecting himself. Then follow Creed to the laboratory. Then the X-Men and Bishop go inside the laboratory and take out all the Friends of Humanity members. Creed had gone to the man that infected the clerk at the mall, who turns out to be Apocalypse. When the X-men go down, Apocalypse turns into his normal self and start fighting with the X-Men. Their powers don't work on Apocalypse. Later Bishop saves Wolverine from crashing into a tube filled with the virus; then Bishop throws a bomb in the lab and escape. Seeing his virus destroyed, apocalypse gets angry and grows even more bigger, and in one shot kills all the X-men and Bishop.

Back in 3999 the Cable's time-device tells Cable that because of Bishop, the plague never infected mutants and in return the antibodies that protected mutants from further plagues were never created. So, over time uncontrolled mutations developed destroying the mutant race and changing their time. The time-device says that in order for their time to occur the mutant plague must occur. The Cable says "In order to save my world, I have to destroy a past one and help Apocalypse." right here part 1 of Time Fugitives ends.

[edit] Time Fugitives (Part 2)

Part 2 begins right after part 1. To make sure the plague happens, Cable goes back in time to stop Bishop. Cable goes to the same place and time, where Bishop landed. Cable asks Bishop that he can't stop the plague, Bishop doesn't listen, so Cable starts shooting at Bishop. Bishop dodges the blasts, and shoots a stun ray at Cable, which knocks him out for a while. Then Bishop runs away. But Cable catches on but still Bishop eludes him. After that Cable again time-traveles to the part where Bishop stops the Friends of Humanity from terrorizing mutants. Here Cable sits on a rooftop and aims at Bishop. But Rogue sees Cable and stops him. Cable throws Rogue in a wall and starts shooting at Bishop, Wolverine sees Cable in time and moves Bishop out of the way. Then Cyclops shoots Cable with his laser, in response Cable shoots at him and the roof edge breaks and Cyclops and the X-Jet falls down, but Storm saves him. While Jean tries to stop the X-jet. Then Rogue gets up and saves the X-jet. Wolverine takes on Cable, but a Friends of Humanity member shoots Wolverine with a laser gun. Then Cable and Bishop exchange fires. Bishop damages Cable's robotic arm. Then the other X-men also start shooting at Cable, so Cable again time-travels back to HQ. Here Cable repaires his robotic arm, and asks his computer to give him compelete bio of the X-men. When the computer goes to Wolverine, Cable gets an idea of how he can save his and Bishop's timelines.

Then Cable time-travels to the time of Beast's meeting at the Senate. When he gets inside the building, Bishop is stopping Creed from shooting the virus in Beast. While the X-Men are stopping Bishop and the Friends of Humanity members from creating a riot. Wolverine fights Cable. Later when the X-Men calm things out, Cable disappears with Wolverine. Cable brings Wolverine to his HQ. Here, Cable tells Wolverine that he needs his help, and tells him that Apocalypse is behind the virus. But Wolverine doesn't believe him, so later Cable takes both of them outside of Creed's laboratory with his time-device.

They go to the part where the X-Men enter inside the laboratory. Here Cable shoots apocalypse, as soon as he gets there. Then Apocalypse becomes bigger and the X-men shoot at him, but can't do anything to stop him. Later Apocalypse shoots Wolverine and he goes crashing into a tube that is filled with the virus. Bishop tries to save Wolverine, but Cable stops him. Then Wolverine is infected, Cable says, "It has to be done, it's the only way." Cable says that Wolverine's healing power is curing him, and with that he is creating the antibodies that all mutants will need to survive in the future. Cable drops a bomb near Apocalypse and he is trapped inside an energy ball. Cable tells him that they have found a cure for his virus, and it's now useless, and destroys the virus. Then Cable goes back to his time and the X-men escape from the building. This time Apocalypse doesn't kill the X-men, he just flies off swearing to get his revenge. Then Bishop also goes back to his time.

When Bishop gets back to his timeline in 2055 AD, he asks Forge if he stopped the plague, and Forge doesn't remember the plague. So, it seems that the plague never happened and Bishop's timeline again changed. When Cable goes to his time in 3999 AD he finds that everything is back to normal and Wolverine's antibodies saved the future. Right here the Time Fugitives ends.
