Timana Tahu (born October 16, 1980) is an Australian rugby league player for the Parramatta Eels in the National Rugby League competition and for New South Wales in State of Origin. He is one of the most talented players in the NRL and certainly one of the best backline attacking players in Australia. He was well known for his abilities and the centre-wing combination with Matthew Gidley when with the Newcastle Knights.
On 20th March 2007 Tahu had announced he would be switching codes to join the Waratahs from the 2008 season. Tahu's contract with the Parramatta Eels will end at the end of the 2007 NRL season. The contract with the Waratahs is expected to be a four year deal.[1]
