Tim Gautreaux

Tim Gautreaux is a novelist and short story writer who lives in Hammond, Louisiana, where he is director of the creative writing program at Southeastern Louisiana University.
His writing has appeared in Best American Short Stories, and his novel The Next Step in the Dance won the 1999 SEBA Book Award.
He was the 2005 recipient of the John Dos Passos Prize.
