I'm going to start researching a few of them and will probably start deleting some of them unless sources can be attributed to them. Renrenren 22:07, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rumours

I don't know that rumours belong in a wikipedia article. As such, I`ve removed the rumours from the article page. Renrenren 20:45, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Ken Trevenna does not apear to be a relevant person from Timmins.

[edit] External links on Timmins, Ontario page

I've started reorganizing the links on this page. In my opinion, there are WAY too many links in the first place. I know most links are information based, and have not been put up in an effort to drum up business. However, if you look at other pages such as Toronto, Ontario, North Bay, Ontario, Ottawa, Ontario, all of these municipalities are larger than Timmins and have way fewer external links. I just think we need to find a way to make things more concise. Perhaps adding links in the article where they should appear would be one way to solve this issue. --Renrenren 19:03, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

I've been warned for adding external links to articles about towns/cities. The only links that seem to be acceptable to everyone are the official websites of the town, .gov links, or links to historical societies. No links to businesses or clubs or even non-profit organizations belong in the external links section of an article on a city/town - people can search Google if they need that kind of information about a municipality. --Sinned 01:50, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
