Tillie the Toiler was a United States newspaper comic strip. Created by cartoonist Russell Channing Westover, it ran from 1921 to 1959, distributed by King Features Syndicate. It featured the adventures of a young working girl, Tillie Jones.
The comic strip inspired two films of the same name. Tillie the Toiler (1927 film) starred Marion Davies in the title role; Kay Harris took the role of Tillie in Tillie the Toiler (1941 film).
