Tilla is a launch site for testing military rockets in Central Pakistan and is located at 33°24′N 73°18′E.

Tilla is 7 Km away from a famous fort built by SHER SHAH SURI in early 16th century. Tilla is known a TILLA JOGIYAAN as in recent times jogies lived here. jogies were the people who left the social life for peace of mind and for the sake of God. a famous character RAHNJHA left the society when his love HEER was married to another man and he became JOGI. Tilaa is a green place and there is a water pond and many beautiful trres with old BANGLOWS eithout residents.
