Tikkakoski is a rural municipality in the Jyväskylän maalaiskunta, 20 km north of Jyväskylä in Finland. The inhabitants number some 5,000.

The Jyväskylä Airport, Aviation Museum of Central Finland, and a Finnish Air Force base, with the FAF Headquarters, Support flight squadron and the Finnish Air Force Academy are all located in Tikkakoski.
