[edit] About me

I'm a Dutch guy, born on January 10, 1980. I discovered Wikipedia in 2002 and immediately fell in love with the project. In fact, I became terribly addicted to it, having to follow all non-existent links and fill them in. Instead of putting my knowledge into the project, I had to do Internet searches for details on Gudrun Ensslin, for example. The addiction grew terribly out of hand, until a three month trip to Ecuador had me lose the habit cold turkey. Ever since then, I have mainly edited articles, contributing knowledge that was already in my head for some reason.

In the past years, I have touched a diverse number of subjects on Wikipedia, entering textbook knowledge on chemistry, psychology, cognitive science and neurobiology. Because of a great interest in history and politics I sometimes do some minor edits in those areas, too. However, time is scarce and so I did less in three years than some on Wikipedia do in one month.

If you want to talk about any of my writings on Wikipedia, do not hesitate to drop a line on my talk page. It may take a while for me the answer, but eventually I will.
