Tig may refer to:
- TIG Welding, a metal welding process.
- Tig Notaro, an American stand-up comic
- TIG, abbreviation of Triennial Inter-varsity Games, held by the University of Hong Kong, the National University of Singapore, the University of Malaya and the University of Indonesia every three years since 1949
- Tag a simple game, often played by children.
- Tig, a "game" invented by the actors in the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy and used as a synonym for 'tag' in Collaborative fiction to indicate one writer is done and the other (or one of the others) should take their turn. In reality, "tig" is somewhat akin to "Calvinball"; it's not an actual game and there are no rules, you just make them up as you go along. However, after Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd made up the fake game "Tig", they convinced fellow cast member Elijah Wood that it was a real game, with very complicated rules (when in fact, the rules were constantly being made up on the fly). Elijah Wood believed that "Tig" was a real game for well over a year.
- Tig, a long-used Irish term for the well-known children's game 'Tag.'
