Tidewater Community College is a two-year higher education institution in South Hampton Roads consisting of multiple campuses in the cities of Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach, the largest of which is located in Virginia Beach. The college, founded in 1968, is known locally as "TCC" and is the second-largest community college in the Virginia Community College System and the 37th largest in the United States. It offers a wide variety of vocational and transfer-oriented degrees and certificates. The college serves as the largest higher education provider in Southeastern Virginia.
