should this be deleted as non-notable?? asks Madman2001 in his edit summary. Absolutely not. There are literally thousands of small less notable places with articles in the states and this is an international encyclopedia. There are also countless places in the UK etc which are much smaller buit have articles,. The general feeling is place articles are fine on places much smaller than this, eg see Totnes. Suggesting that because it is a Latin American place it is less notable would be true for a US centred wikipedia but never for an international encyclopedia like the one we have, SqueakBox 15:33, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
