Tian Yuan (30 March 1985 – ) is a Chinese singer-songwriter.

She was born in Wuhan, China. Aged only 16, she joined local band Hopscotch as singer and lyricist. The band was signed to major label Modernsky in 2002 and released their first English-language album that year, titled A Wishful Way. The album was well received by critics and the public alike thanks to its fresh sound, influenced by trip-hop and independent rock, and the beauty and talent of the band's frontperson.

The same year she released her English-language novel Zebra Woods, which received some international acclaim, and wrote a collection of short stories while touring for A Wishful Way, which was later published in China.

In 2004 she starred alongside Josie Ho in Hong Kong film Butterfly, a performance for which she won an award as the Best New Performer at the 24th Hong Kong Film Award and Taiwan's Golden Horse Festival.

She is currently a student at Beijing Language and Culture University, majoring in English.
