Tiago Splitter

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tiago Splitter (born January 1, 1985 in Blumenau, Brazil) is a Brazilian-Spanish professional basketball player who currently plays in the Spanish ACB with TAU Cerámica. The 6'11" (2.11 m) power forward was expected to declare for the 2006 NBA Draft, but due to his expensive buyout, which discouraged teams with high picks, he will play next season in Spain. Because of his age, he will be in the 2007 NBA Draft, where he will likely be a first round pick, though concern over his buyout is still looming. He has dual Brazilian and Spanish citizenship.
