[edit] BUDL

Not sure who put the BUDL tags on articles, but I see you started the box. Those kinds of project boxes should be on talk pages, not randomly in an article. I've moved them all (35 by my count). — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 11:32, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] CfD March 14

At two entries in the categories for discussion, March 14, namely here and here you added comments without signatures. I guess this was in error, but do try to remember to sign your posts. Somewhat more grave is the second point, because you disrupted a previous users' reply to make it look like they had posted the comment. Again, I hope this was made in error. Misrepresenting other users is quite clearly unacceptable. Best regards, --Rimshots 12:45, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Andy Ellis (debate coach)

A tag has been placed on Andy Ellis (debate coach), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Finngall talk 18:46, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Copyrighted image on your user page

Hi Thx2005 - I have removed the copyrighted image on your user page and replaced it with a link to the image. Please review this page to learn about what kinds of images are not permitted on user pages. Thanks and happy editing. --EarthPerson 19:29, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Andreas Spiliadis

A tag has been placed on Andreas Spilliadis requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia because it fails to indicate why this individual is notable. Articles concerning Pamela Spiliadis, Beth Skinner, Chris Baron, and Diana Kerns have been similarly tagged. Refer to the Wikipedia:Notability guidelines to see what is accepted as notable. --Golem88991 23:12, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Pamela Spiliadis

An editor has nominated Pamela Spiliadis, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Andreas Spiliadis and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. [edit] Unspecified source for Image:BUDLBeth.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:BUDLBeth.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:06, 5 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sherool (talk) 22:06, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD of BUDL related people

Hi Adam - I wanted to add a bit more of a personal comment than I did at the AfD entry. I see that you believe strongly in the league and that's good. Passion about ideas is terrific - that's what drives us. But think about the people articles from the viewpoint of the people themselves. These are all real people and articles on them fall under the area of Wikipedia:Notability (people).

Have they had input on the articles? If I was a member of a similar organization, I'd personally feel embarassed if someone made a page about me that really said nothing more than where I was from, and that I liked celery, rebuilt lawnmowers in my spare time and my pet peeve was walking on wet carpet in my socks. Like I said don't trivialize your other work. Thanks. --EarthPerson 18:39, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] City College Notables page

Dear Thx2005, I returned the notable alumni from the page you created to its original place. I did not agree with making it a seperate page as most other schools have its alumni information on its main page, but also you lost about 25 names in the transfer, many of the names had been on that page for more than a year. Anyway, post a note here if you do not agree or on the Baltimore City College discussion page. I apologize for remaining anonymous, but I can tell you that I am a City graduate too. (But a much older one than you.lol)Thanks for all the great work you have done on the debate team portion of the page.
